Migration Queensland Update: Program Now Open For 2023-2024
Queensland Migration update

Queensland’s Skilled Migration Program 2023-2024 is now open

The newest Queensland Migration update states that its state nomination skilled migration program opened on September 5, 2023. The official announcement on the Migration Queensland website says that due to a reduced allocation from the Department of Home Affairs this financial year (1550 skilled nominations and no BIIP allocation), Queensland’s state-nominated program will be very competitive.

What is the update?

Migration Queensland will begin inviting selected applicants from the end of September 2023 and hold invitation rounds at the end of each month for the remainder of the financial year 2023 – 24. The number of applicants invited each year will be capped to ensure an even and consistent invitation rate throughout the program year.
