The Latest Canada Express Entry Draws, Score History and Factors

The Latest OINP Draws and Score History

What is OINP?

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is a pivotal pathway for individuals and families looking to settle in Ontario, Canada’s most populous and economically vibrant province.

The OINP is an immigration program that enables Ontario to nominate individuals and their families for permanent residence in Canada. It is tailored to meet the province’s specific labor market and economic needs, making it an attractive option for those looking to establish themselves in Ontario.

What categories fall under the OINP?

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) uses two intake systems to manage applications. Before applying to the program, you must register in either the Expression of Interest system or the Express Entry system to let the OINP know you wish to be invited to apply. The OINP has a number of streams you may qualify for.

Ontario’s Expression of Interest Streams:

  1. Employer Job Offer Category: Ontario employers can nominate foreign workers and international students for permanent residence under the Employer Job Offer stream. This stream is divided into three subcategories.
  • Foreign Worker stream – if you are a skilled foreign worker with a job offer in Ontario.
  • International Student stream – if you are a recent graduate with a job offer in Ontario.
  • In-Demand Skills stream – if you are a foreign worker in an in-demand occupation with a job offer in Ontario.

2. Masters Graduate stream: if you have a Masters degree from an Ontario university.

3. PhD Graduate stream: If you have a PhD degree from an Ontario university.

Ontario’s Express Entry Streams:

The following streams operate through the federal government’s Express Entry System. To qualify, you must have an Express Entry profile and receive a notification of interest from Ontario.

  • Human Capital Priorities stream – This stream includes the Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP) and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). The Federal Skilled Worker Program is for skilled workers with work experience who want to become permanent residents. The Canadian Experience Class is for skilled workers with Canadian work experience who want to become permanent residents.
  • Skilled Trades stream – if you are a foreign worker with Ontario work experience in an eligible skilled trade.
  • French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream – if you are a French-speaking foreign worker with strong English language abilities.

Entrepreneur stream:

Ideal for individuals looking to start or purchase a business in Ontario and actively manage it. This stream operates through an Expression of Interest system.

Absolutely seamless journey to get my visa with 100% end to end assistance from a well informed team! Thank you CanOz! At the onset we were clearly explained every miletone of the journey and expectations from both sides were clearly spealt. We were well informed about the paper work that would be needed and other documentation formalities that were supposed to get fulfilled. There were absolutely no surprises and we steadily moved from one step to the next. Infact most of our questions and apprehensions were fairly preempted and there was no scope of any ambiguity! Delightful and totally relaxed was our experience! Thank you again!

My Australian PR application took about 5 years to reach an outcome. It was a bit of a complicated case and I might have lost hope had Baksh not been my migration agent. By the time I got introduced to Baksh I had already tried a couple of popular agents and got frustrated by the lack of transparency they demonstrated. Baksh was the polar opposite to those money grabbers. He was always clear with his suggestions, had excellent knowledge of the system and his advice helped navigate through complexities with so much ease. The payments were always discussed and was clarified too. An absolute gem of a professional. By the time I received 2 invites in 2022, I trusted Baksh's recommendation and opted to go for 189 albeit being more complicated than a 491. I am so glad I did. I cannot recommend Baksh and Canoz enough.
