Known for its high living standards, Canada has good roads, excellent healthcare, and top-notch schools. People from different backgrounds are welcomed, and there’s a celebration of various traditions and foods. How Can We Help You?

We at CanOz Immigration are well-versed in the intricate details of immigration regulations and can guide you through the complex application procedures. Our expertise extends to understanding the specific requirements of Canadian immigration streams, ensuring that applicants meet the necessary criteria.

Read about the streams under Canadian immigration:

Study Visa

A study permit is essential for international students wishing to pursue education in Canada. Key steps include obtaining acceptance from a Designated Learning Institution, proving financial capacity, demonstrating language proficiency, and undergoing a medical examination. The study permit application is submitted online, and biometrics may be required.

Students can also choose the Student Direct Stream (SDS), a streamlined process for study permit applications in Canada designed to expedite the approval process for students from certain countries. To qualify for SDS, applicants must meet specific criteria, including acceptance into a Designated Learning Institution, proof of payment for the first year’s tuition, a Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC), and upfront medical examinations.

Work Visa

A work visa for Canada is essential for those seeking employment opportunities. Canada offers diverse work visa options:

1. Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP): Allows employers to hire foreign workers for temporary labor shortages, often requiring a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).

2. International Mobility Program (IMP): Covers various work permits without needing an LMIA.

3. Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP): Permits international students to work in Canada for up to three years after graduation.

4. Open Work Permits: Offer flexibility to work for any employer, including programs like Working Holiday and International Experience Canada.

5. Global Talent Stream (GTS): Facilitates faster hiring of highly skilled foreign workers, sometimes with an expedited LMIA process.

Family Sponsorship

Canada offers Family Sponsorship Programs to reunite families by allowing Canadian citizens and permanent residents to sponsor their family members for permanent residence. Key programs include:

1. Spousal and Common-Law Partner Sponsorship: Allows sponsorship of spouses or partners with financial support requirements.

2. Parent and Grandparent Sponsorship: Permits sponsorship of parents and grandparents, with sponsors meeting income criteria.

3. Dependent Child Sponsorship: Enables sponsorship of dependent children with financial support and eligibility criteria.

4. Other Relative Sponsorship: In specific cases, sponsors can support other relatives, meeting defined criteria.

Applicants undergo a process managed by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, requiring adherence to health and security standards.

Express Entry

Express Entry is Canada’s flagship immigration system designed to attract skilled workers for permanent residence. Comprising three main categories – Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) – Express Entry operates through a points-based system. Candidates create online profiles, and points are assigned based on factors such as age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and adaptability. Regular draws are conducted, inviting candidates with the highest Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores to apply for permanent residence. It’s a competitive process that reflects Canada’s commitment to selecting immigrants with the potential to contribute positively to the Canadian economy.

Provincial Nomination Programs

Canada’s Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) are vital pathways for individuals seeking permanent residence. Operated by provinces and territories, each PNP has unique streams tailored to address local economic and demographic needs. These programs allow provinces to nominate candidates with skills and experiences crucial to their labor markets. Some PNPs align with the federal Express Entry system, providing applicants with additional points for a provincial nomination. Employer-driven streams facilitate hiring skilled workers, while community-specific streams aim to enhance local development. PNPs offer diverse opportunities for immigration, reflecting Canada’s commitment to regional economic growth and the enrichment of its immigrant community. Prospective applicants can explore PNPs to find a suitable pathway aligned with their skills and career goals.

Pilot Programs

Canada’s pilot programs offer innovative pathways to address specific immigration and labor market needs. The Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) is designed to attract skilled workers to smaller communities, contributing to their growth. The Atlantic Immigration Pilot (AIP) focuses on the Atlantic provinces, encouraging skilled immigrants to meet regional workforce demands. The Agri-Food Immigration Pilot targets the agricultural sector, aiming to address labor shortages in farming and food processing. Additionally, caregiver pilot programs provide avenues for caregivers to obtain permanent residence, recognizing their essential contributions. These pilots showcase Canada’s adaptability in shaping immigration policies to meet evolving economic and demographic requirements.

My Australian PR application took about 5 years to reach an outcome. It was a bit of a complicated case and I might have lost hope had Baksh not been my migration agent. By the time I got introduced to Baksh I had already tried a couple of popular agents and got frustrated by the lack of transparency they demonstrated. Baksh was the polar opposite to those money grabbers. He was always clear with his suggestions, had excellent knowledge of the system and his advice helped navigate through complexities with so much ease. The payments were always discussed and was clarified too. An absolute gem of a professional. By the time I received 2 invites in 2022, I trusted Baksh's recommendation and opted to go for 189 albeit being more complicated than a 491. I am so glad I did. I cannot recommend Baksh and Canoz enough.
