On February 5, 2020 – Express Entry Draw took place and 3500 Invitations to Apply Visa were issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada under Express Entry and the Comprehensive Ranking System – (CRS) cut-off was 472 for this CRS draw, an increase of one point from the previous draw held on 22 Jan 2020. As on 31 January 2020 there were around 20,300 candidates in Pool with score of 451 or above as per figures released by IRCC therefore it is very less likely in near future that CRS Cut off will drop below 465.
Candidates in pool are ranked on a score awarded under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), which is calculated based on factors such as Age, Education, Skilled Work Experience and Language proficiency in English or French.
A set number of the highest-ranked candidates are invited to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence through regular draws from the pool by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. Once, candidate receives ITA, they are given 60 days to submit the documents to IRCC. IRCC shall then take approximates 6 months to decide the application.
