Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship Canada
Leaving your home country and moving to Canada is not an easy task when you have your parents back home. Considering this emotional quotient, Canada introduced the Family Sponsorship Program, Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship Canada. Under this program any Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident can sponsor their parents and grandparents to Canada. The only condition being they should meet the eligibility criteria as set by the IRCC under this program.
One of these requirements is to meet the standard requirement for parent sponsorship income. To qualify to apply under this Family class immigration, you must demonstrate that you can meet the minimum income requirement for sponsoring parents. This means you should have sufficient income to financially support your family in Canada.
However, the income required to sponsor parents differs as per the number of family members residing in Canada and the number of members you intend to sponsor.
To be eligible to sponsor your parents and grandparents, you must surpass the Minimum Necessary Income (MNI) for the past 3 years from the date of submitting the sponsorship application.
How much Income Do I Need to Sponsor My Parents and Grandparents to Move to Canada?
The sponsors under the Parent and Grandparent Sponsorship Program must meet the below-listed MNI.

Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship Canada Income Required in Quebec
If the sponsors are living in Quebec, their parent sponsorship income requirement is different from the above-given table. Here, the sponsors are assumed to be competent in satisfying the undertaking upon a condition. The condition being for the last 12 months they have had gross income from Canadian sources that is equivalent to the total income as shown in Table 1 and Table 2 below. The income demonstrated in both tables is indexed each year.

Update : Record Number of Applications to be Accepted by IRCC for 2021 Parents and Grandparents Program
On July 20, 2021, Marco E. L. Mendicino, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship announced that IRCC will be accepting a maximum of 30,000 additional applications apart from that scheduled. This is the best opportunity for any Canadian citizen or permanent resident seeking to invite their parents and grandparents to Canada. The random selection process will remain the same as in previous years. Also IRCC will be sending out invitations to competent sponsors who have already submitted an interest to sponsor their application in 2020. The Invitation to Apply (ITA) will be sent in the week beginning September 20, 2021 for a period of two weeks.
